WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN TASK BELOW TO PREPARE THE
_______ SAFETY-SENSITIVE SYSTEMS FOR THE AIR MODE. FAILURE TO DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF AIRPLANE SYSTEMS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

For removal of the alternate sensor, open this circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

For removal of the primary sensor, open this circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Remove the Door Warning Sensor (Fig. 201)

(1)
Disconnect the electrical wires for the sensor:
(a)
Remove the cover from the junction box (J22 left gear, J25 right gear).
(b)
Remove the sealant material from the electrical terminals with the plastic scraper.
(c)
Make a record of the connection of the wires at the terminal strip.
NOTE: This will help you during the installation.

(d)
Disconnect the sensor wires from the terminal strip.
(e)
Remove the terminal lugs from the wires.
(f)
Attach a line to ends of the leads.
NOTE: This line will be used to pull the sensor wire through
____ the conduit during the installation. Make sure the line is longer than the length of the conduit.

Remove the sensor:
(a)
Remove the sensor mounting screws.
(b)
Remove the sensor and pull the sensor wires from the conduit. 1) Do not pull the line out of the conduit.
