Prepare the Airplane for the Test

WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCKS ARE INSTALLED ON THE WING GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure the ground locks are installed on the wing gear
(AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING:_______OBEY THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR THE DOOR LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY. THE MOVENENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2)
Install the door locks for the wing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do these steps to prepare the CMC for the test (Fig. 202):
NOTE: This test uses the CMCs.

Push the MENU key on the CDU to get the CDU MENU.
(b)
Push the line-select key, adjacent to the <CMC display.
(c)
Push the line-select key, adjacent to the <OTHER FUNCTIONS display.
(d)
Push the line-select key, adjacent to the <INPUT MONITORING display.
(e)
Push the CDU keys E/070/270/00.
(f)
Push the key 1L.
(g)
Push the NEXT PAGE key.

Do the Test of the Uplock Sensor:
(a)
Push the PREVIOUS PAGE key or the NEXT PAGE key as necessary to show the logic condition that follows:

For the Left Primary Uplock Sensor (S398): Label 270/00

For the Right Primary Uplock Sensor (S404): Label 270/00
-
For the Left Alt Uplock Sensor (S1638): Label 272/00
-
For the Right Alt Uplock Sensor (S1639): Label 272/00
(b)
Make sure the CDU display for the label 270/00 or 272/00 is shown as follows (Fig. 202):

(c)
Put the actuator on the applicable sensor, S398, S404 (Primary Uplock Sensor) or S1638, S1639 (Alternate Uplock Sensor).

Make sure the CDU display for the label 270/00 or 272/00 is shown as follows (Fig. 202):

Remove the actuator from the sensor, S398, S404 (Primary Uplock Sensor) or S1638, S1639 (Alternate Uplock Sensor).

Push the line-select key, adjacent to the <RETURN display until the CDU MENU shown.

Put the Airplane in Its Usual Condition

WARNING:_______OBEY THE REMOVAL PROCEDURE FOR THE DOOR LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY. THE MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Remove the door locks for the landing gear and close the doors (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(2)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
