(b) (c) (d) Attach a line to the ends, and put them thru the conduit.Install the sensor mounting bracket if removed.Install the sensor with mounting screws.
NOTE:____ A correctly installed sensor will have the necessary clearance as shown in view A-A, Fig. 201. Adjustment of the clearance is usually not necessary. Do a check of the clearance, if you have any of these conditions: - The sensor mounting bracket is moved - The door is replaced - The doorstop is adjusted.
(e) (f) (g) 1) Install the screw head on the sensor side.Cut the sensor leads to the correct length and install the terminal lugs.Connect the sensor leads to the terminal strip.Do a check of the terminals and the colors for the correct connection.
CAUTION:_______ FAILURE TO SEAL THE OPEN ELECTRICAL TERMINALS CAN CAUSE
SHORTED OR BURNED SWITCHES. THIS IS CAUSED BY
CONTAMINATION, SUCH AS DETERGENT WATER, WHICH GOES INTO
UNSEALED JUNCTION BOXES.
(h) Seal the open electrical terminals. 1) Clean the bare surface of the terminals with the solvent. 2) Use a brush to apply a thin layer of the primer on the bare
surface of the terminals. a) Let the primer dry. 3) Apply the sealant on the bare surface of the terminals with a short bristle brush.
