Install the conduit:
(a)
Install the clamps between the sections that have tape.
(b)
Make sure that the upper mounting bolt for the anchor bracket is 3.6 inches from the vertical link attach point.

(4)
Connect the sensor wires:
(a)
Cut the sensor wires to the correct length and install the terminal lugs (7) on the sensor wires.
(b)
Install the terminal lug (7) on the terminal strip.
(c)
Install the washers (9), the lock washers (10), and the nuts (11).

(5) Do the test of the sensors with the actuator test tool (Refer to the task to do a Test of the Nose Gear Lock Sensor.
NOTE: Make sure the sensor is kept more than one inch away from

any metal surface during the test.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT DROP OR HIT THE SENSORS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF THE SENSORS AND CAUSE A FAILURE OF THE INDICATION SYSTEM.

Install the sensor:
(a)
Hold the sensor (2) in its position on the bracket (4).
(b)
Make sure that the clearance between the sensor and the target is as shown on Fig. 201. 1) If the clearance is not correct, adjust the sensor (Refer
to the task for the Nose Gear Lock Sensor Adjustment).
(c)
Install the sensor (2) with the screws (1), washers (5), and nuts (6).

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THE ELECTRICAL TERMINALS. IF YOU DO NOT SEAL THE ELECTRICAL TERMINALS, CONTAMINATION CAN GET INTO THEM AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SENSORS.

Seal the electrical terminals:
(a)
Clean the bare surface of the terminals with solvent.
(b)
Apply a thin layer of primer on the bare surface of the terminals and let it dry.
(c)
Apply sealant on the surface of the terminals with a short bristle brush.
