Prepare for Removal

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THR GROUND LOCKS ARE INSTALLED IN ALL OF THE
_______ LANDING GEAR. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure that all ground locks for the landing gear are installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING:_______OBEY THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR THE GROUND LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY. THE MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Install the door lock for the nose gear door (AMM 32-00-30/201).

(3) Do this task: "Prepare Safety-Sensitive Systems for the Air Mode" (Ref 32-09-02/201).
NOTE:____It is not necessary to do this task: "Put the air/ground relay system in the air mode".

Remove the Door Warning Sensor (Fig. 201)

Remove the cover from the junction box (J26).

Remove the sensor:
(a)
Remove the sealant from the electrical terminals with the scraper.
(b)
Write down the terminal and the color of the wire.
(c)
Disconnect the sensor leads from the terminal strip (T387).
(d)
Remove the terminal lugs from the leads. 1) Be careful to not cause damage to the leads.
NOTE: The leads can be used again.

(e) Attach a line to the ends of the sensor wires.
NOTE: This line will be used during the installation to pull
____ the sensor wires thru the conduit. Make sure the line is longer than the length of the conduit.

Remove the sensor mounting screws.
(g)
Remove the sensor and pull the electrical leads from the conduit. 1) Do not pull the line out of the conduit.
(h)
Remove the mounting bracket if it is damaged.
