Push the button and pull out the quick-release pin from the apex bolt.
(b)
Loosen the apex bolt from the threaded bushing and pull out.

(5) Manually move the upper link (in the restrained position) through its arc.
NOTE: This is to make sure there is sufficient clearance between
____ the link and the P37 panel or the housing of the runway turnoff light.

Use the holding tool to hold the link clear of the nose gear tires.

Remove the left forward ceiling panel in the passenger compartment that is forward of the No. 1 door.

Remove the Arming Switch (Fig. 401)

Remove the interconnect actuator of the No. 2 rudder pedal (AMM 32-51-07/401).

Remove the arming switch.
(a)
Remove the two screws, the nuts, and the washers that attach the switch to the bracket and remove the switch.
(b)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the terminals on the switch.

A. General
(1) The table that follows contains port/label and bit data. This information is necessary when you install and do a test of the arming switch for the steering system of the body landing gear.

Install the switch in the bracket until the channel touches the inboard end of slot and secure with mounting screws, washers, and nuts.

Attach the switch with the mounting screws, the washers, and the nuts.
