(1) Make sure that you install the ground locks of the landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Actuator Lock Switch Removal (Fig. 401)

Remove the lock switch.
(a)
Remove the two screws that attach the connector.
CAUTION:_______REPLACE ONLY ONE SWITCH AT A TIME. THE SWITCH ACTUATING PLUNGERS ARE SPRING LOADED. REMOVAL OF THE TWO SWITCHES AT THE SAME TIME WILL MOVE THE LINEAR TRANSDUCER OUT OF ITS POSITION. YOU WILL NEED A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY TOOL TO INSTALL THE LINEAR TRANSDUCER.
(b)
Sufficiently loosen the locknut to remove the tab of the lockwasher from the locking hole.
(c)
Remove the switch, the wiring and the connector that is attached to it.
(d)
Remove the O-ring from the connector and discard.
