Adjust the Uplock Sensor (Fig. 202)

Do these steps to adjust the uplock sensor (1):
(a)
Manually move the uplock hook to the closed (gear locked up) position (Fig. 202).
NOTE: You can use the actuating tool or a wood bar to move the
____ uplock hook. If you use a wood bar, put it in the jaw of the uplock hook.
(b)
Make sure the clearance between the sensor and the target is as shown on Fig. 201.
(c)
If the clearance is not correct, do these steps: 1) Remove the sensor from the mounting bracket. 2) Install new shims (4) or remove the laminations from the
shim as it is necessary to get the correct clearance.

3) Install the sensor on the mounting bracket.
(2) S 862-041Make sure the control handle for the landing gear is in the OFF position.
(3) S 862-108Pressurize the No. 1 hydraulic system (Ref 29-11-00/201).
(4) S 862-052Move the control handle for the landing gear to the DN position.
(5) S 212-038Make sure the hook opens and stays open.
