E. Remove the Lock Sensor

(1)
Disconnect the sensor wires:
(a)
Remove the sealant material from the electrical terminals on the terminal strip with the plastic scraper.
(b)
Make a record of the terminal and color of wires (Ref WDM 32-61-13 primary sensor, WDM 32-61-22 alternate sensor).
(c)
Remove the nut (11), the lock washer (10), and the washer (9).
(d)
Carefully remove terminal lugs (7) from the sensor wires.
(e)
Attach a line that is longer than the conduit to the sensor wires.
NOTE: You will use this line to pull the sensor wires through
____ the conduit, during the installation.

_______ THE STEERING LOCKOUT PIN (AMM 09-11-00/201). THE NOSE WHEEL CAN ACCIDENTALLY TURN AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure the steering lockout pin is installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Install the Lock Sensor

Twist the sensor leads and attach the line installed in the sensor removal procedure.

Carefully pull the wires through the conduit and remove the line.
