Manually move the uplock hook to the close (gear locked up) position (Fig. 202).
NOTE: You can use the actuating tool or a wood bar to move the
____ uplock hook. If you use a wood bar, put it in the jaw of the uplock hook.

Make sure the clearance is as shown on Fig. 201.

Install new shims or or remove laminates from the shims (1) to get the correct clearance.

Make sure the control handle for the landing gear is in the OFF position.
