(4) Do a test of the nose gear door warning sensors with the CMC:
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE DOOR WILL NOT HIT PERSONS OR EQUIPMENT
_______ WHEN IT OPENS OR CLOSES. FAST MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
(a) Move the ground release handle for the nose gear doors to the "Doors Open" position. 1) Attach an actuator to the primary door warning sensor
(S406). 2) Make sure that bit 26 of Label 270/Sdi 00 is a 0 (NOT OPEN). 3) Remove the actuator from the primary door warning sensor
(S406). 4) Make sure that Bit 26 of Label 270/Sdi 00 is a 1 (OPEN). 5) Attach an actuator to the alternate door warning sensor
(S425). 6) Make sure that bit 26 of Label 272/Sdi 00 is a 0 (NOT OPEN). 7) Remove the actuator from the alternate door warning sensor (S425). 8) Make sure that Bit 26 of Label 272/Sdi 00 is a 1 (OPEN).
H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.

Move the ground release handle for the nose gear door to the STOWED position.
(3)
Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position.

BODY LANDING GEAR DOOR WARNING SENSOR - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

A. This section has these two tasks:
-Removal of the body landing gear door warning sensor
-
Installation of the body landing gear door warning sensor.
B.
The door warning sensors for the body gear are at the bottom of the door stop support beam. The support beam is at the forward edge of the body gear doors.
C.
The procedure to remove and install the primary or the alternate sensors is the same.
