(1) Make sure the ground locks are installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Adjust the Lock Sensor

(1) Make sure the distance between the sensor (2) and upper drag strut is correct.

If the clearance is less than shown in Fig./201, then do these steps to adjust the clearance:
(a)
Remove the bolts, nuts, and washers which hold the bracket in place.
(b)
Install shims as necessary to get the correct clearance between the sensor and the upper drag strut.
(c)
Remove laminations from the shim to adjust the clearance.
(d)
Bond the shim to the bracket assembly with the sealant.
(e)
Install the bracket with bolts, washers, and nuts.

Measure the sensor clearance between the sensor and target. If the clearance is not per figure 201, then do the task to adjust the nose gear lock sensor.

Do the task to Put Safety-Sensitive Systems Back to the Condition Before Air Mode Simulation (AMM 32-09-02/201).
