The body gear tilt sensors tell that the body gear is in the correct position to fit into the body gear wheel well. The sensors are on the support bracket attached to the aft truck of each gear. The targets are on the bottom of the upper torsion link. The sensors are near the targets when the body gear is extended and in the tilt position.

Wing Gear Sensors (Fig. 3)
(1)
The wing gear downlock sensors tell that the wing gear is down and jury strut assembly is in the locked position. The wing gear downlock sensors are on the upper jury strut at the jury strut apex. The targets are on the lower jury strut. The targets come near the sensors when the wing gear is in the down and locked position.
(2)
The wing gear uplock sensors tell that the wing gear is up and the uplock mechanism is in the locked position. The uplock sensors are above the uplock hook in the uplock mechanism. The targets are in the uplock mechanism. The sensors come near the targets when the wing gear is in the up and locked position.
(3)
The wing gear tilt sensors tell that the wing gear is in the correct position to fit into the wing gear wheel well. The sensors are on the bottom of the upper torsion link. The targets are on the shock strut. The sensors come near the targets when the wing gear is entended and the truck is in the tilt position.

Door Sensors (Fig. 4, 5, 6)
(1)
The door sensors come near the targets in the closed position. The door sensors supply a signal to the PSEU. The door position signals go through the PSEU into EICAS display units. The EICAS message GEAR DOOR shows on the main EICAS display unit if any gear door is not closed. The auxillary EICAS display shows the individual gear door position.
(2)
The nose door position sensors (Fig. 4) are on the right forward bulkhead in the nose gear wheel well. The targets are forward on the right nose gear wheel well door.
(3)
The body gear door position sensors (Fig. 5) are at the botton of the door stop support beam. The targets are on the forward edge of the outboard body gear wheel well door.
