(3) S 864-011Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(4) S 714-009Do an operational test of the ASP: (a) Make sure the light of the FLT microphone selector switch on the ASP is on. (b) Push the passenger address (PA) microphone selector switch on the ASP. 1) Make sure the light on the switch comes on. (c) Make a PA announcement with the hand microphone. 1) Make sure you hear the announcement on all of the lavatory, the attendant, and the passenger service unit (PSU) speakers. (d) Put the hand microphones back in the holders.
(5) S 864-010Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

FLIGHT INTERPHONE SPEAKER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has three tasks. The first task is the removal of a interphone speaker. The second task is the installation of a interphone speaker. The third task is a installation test of the interphone speaker.

2. Flight Interphone Speaker Removal (Fig. 401)_________________________________
A. General
(1) This task removes the captain's or the first officer's speaker.
B. Access
(1) Location Zone
101 Control Cabin - Left
102 Control Cabin - Right
C. Procedure

(1) Open the circuit breakers and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6 Load Control Center - Right
1) C83, CAPT AUDIO
2) C86, F/O AUDIO

(2) Remove the Interphone Speaker:
(a)
Remove the decorative laminate surface: 1) Carefully remove the eight (8) screws that attach the decorative laminate to the top of the control cabin.
2) Remove the decorative laminate from the top of the control cabin.
(b)
Loosen the four screws on the speaker. 1) While you hold the speaker, remove the screws completely.
(c)
Carefully lower the speaker until you can get to the electrical connector. 1) Remove the electrical connector from the speaker.

3. Flight Interphone Speaker Installation (Fig. 401)______________________________________

(1) This procedure installs the captain's or the first officer's speaker.
