(b)
Do these steps at the audio selector panel for the applicable HF communication system: 1) Push and release the applicable HF switch.
a) Make sure the HF switch light comes on. 2) Adjust the HF volume control for a satisfactory sound level.
(c)
Do these steps at the HF communication control panel: 1) Set the mode select switch to the applicable mode of operation (USB/LSB/SSB or AM). 2) Set the frequency display to an HF frequency (which transmits frequently).
3) If it is necessary, adjust the RF SENS knob for a satisfactory sound level. a) Make sure the received voice is satisfactory.
(d)
Set the mode select switch on the HF communication control panel to the OFF position.

(3) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the circuit breaker for the other HF communication control panel (if installed.
