Close the cover on the tape reproducer.
E. Boarding Music Test.

(1) Do a test of the boarding music:
(a)
Push the MUSIC 1 button on the tape reproducer.
(b)
Push the START button on the tape reproducer.
(c)
Adjust the volume control if it is necessary 1) Make sure you hear clear music on all of the speakers.
(d)
Push the STOP button on the tape reproducer.

(2) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove the source program tape:
(a)
Push the 2 number code (90) on the keyboard.
(b)
Push the MUSIC 1 button to open the tape cassette door.
(c)
Remove the tape cassette.

(3) Clean the tape reproducer heads and the tape path:
(a) Examine the source program tapes for damaged conditions.

(b) Examine the tape heads, the guides, the capstan and the sensors for a dirty condition.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE ABRASIVE DETERGENTS OR SOLVENTS TO CLEAN THE
_______ HEADS. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CLEAN OR YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HEADS.
(c)
Make the cloth or applicator moist with isopropyl alcohol.
(d)
Carefully clean the tape reproducer parts with the cotton applicator or the lintfree cloth.
(e)
Clean the tape head/path until there is no change in the color of the cloth or the applicator.
(f)
Let the head surfaces dry fully.

(4) Install the source program tape:
(a) Install the tape cassette in the tape reproducer with the tape loop at the top. 1) Make sure the tape cassette is against the tape reproducer
head.
NOTE: The tape is correctly installed when you see the

label.
(b)
Close the tape cassette door on the tape reproducer.
(c)
Close the cover on the tape reproducer.
