(1) Install the Lavatory Speaker:
(a)
Hold the speaker and the cover in the correct position.
(b)
Install the lavatory speaker with the four screws.
(c)
Attach the two speaker wires to the speaker.

(d) Push the PSU up to engage the latches. 1) Make sure you install the PSU correctly.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Do a Test of the Lavatory Speaker Operation:
(a)
At an attendant station, lift the PA microphone from the holder.
(b)
Push the PTT button on the microphone.
(c)
Make an announcement on the PA system.
1) Make sure you can hear the announcement on the installed lavatory speaker.
(d)
Put the microphone back in the holder.
(3)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

(1) The source tape can not be replaced on the flight line, the tape has to be replaced in a maintenance facility shop.

(1) This procedure replaces the source program tape in the tape reproducer.

Replace the source program tape:
(a)
Push the 2 number code (90) on the keyboard.
(b)
Push the MUSIC 1 button to open the tape cassette door.
(c)
Remove the tape cassette.
(d)
Install the replacement tape cassette in the tape reproducer.
1) Make sure the tape cassette is against the tape reproducer head.
