REMOTE ELECTRONICS UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains these tasks:
(1)
The removal of the Remote Electronics Unit (REU).
(2)
The installation of the REU which contains an operational test of the installed REU.
B. The REU is located on the E2-1 shelf in the Electronics Equipment Compartment. The REU is an electrostatic discharge sensitive device, a precaution method must be used when you replace the REU.
C. The front panel of the REU contains several screw adjustments. These are designed for in-shop test station adjustment only and should not be adjusted on the airplane.
