Make sure that only the VHF-1 microphone light comes on, at the captain's and the observer's ASP.
(q)
Make sure the VHF-1 radio is the only one you can use to speak to a ground station.
(r)
Make sure you can hear the sidetone at the first officer's station with the first officer's boom microphone headset.
(s)
Make sure you can use the MASK/BOOM switch to set the BOOM or the oxygen mask microphone on the captain's ASP.
(t)
Set the ALT/NORM switches back to the NORM (normal) position on the captain's and observer's ASP.
(u)
Open the circuit breaker:
1) P6 Load Control Center - Right
a) C560, INTERPHONE POWER, F/O, NO. 2 BUS
b) C166, VHF-2 COMM
(v)
Make sure you can speak and hear between the captain's and the first officer's ASP.
(w)
Open the circuit breaker:
1) P6 Load Control Center - Right
a) C561, INTERPHONE POWER, F/O, BATT

Make sure you can hear no interphone sound at the first officer's ASP.
(y)
Close the circuit breaker:
1) P6 Load Control Center - Right
a) C166, VHF-2 COMM

Make sure that only the VHF-2 microphone light comes on, at the first officer's ASP. (aa) Make sure the VHF-2 radio is the only one you can use to speak to a ground station. (ab) Make sure you cannot speak or hear between the captain's station and an attendant station on the service interphone. (ac) Make sure you can speak and hear on the flight interphone system between the captain and the observer. (ad) Make sure you can use the MASK-BOOM switch to set the BOOM or the oxygen mask microphone on the first officer's ASP. (ae) Close the circuit breaker: 1) P6 Load Control Center - Right a) C560, INTERPHONE POWER, F/O, NO. 2 BUS (af) Make sure you can speak and hear between the captain and the first officer on the flight interphone system. (ag) Make sure you can speak and hear between the captain's station and the attendant stations on the service interphone. (ah) Open the circuit breaker:

Put the ASP back to their usual condition.
(b)
Put the ADF or the VHF radio back to the usual condition.
