WARNING : DO NOT OPEN OR GO NEAR PRESSURE-SEALED DOORS WHEN THE AIRCRAFT
_______ IS PRESSURIZED. A PRESSURE-SEALED DOOR THAT OPENS WHEN THE AIRCRAFT IS PRESSURIZED.
-WILL CAUSE EXPLOSIVE DECOMPRESSION.
-CAN KILL OR CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT/EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2)
Put the access platform in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825
(3)
Remove the access panels 131NW and 131PW (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Deactivation of the Hot-Air Pressure-Regulating Valve
(1)
Turn the manual override lever (3) of the pressure regulating valve
(2) in the closed position.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector 14HK-C (1) from the pressure regulating valve (2).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Temporarily attach the disconnected electrical connector 14HK-C (2) to the aircraft structure.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2)
Install the access panels 131NW 131PW (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(3)
Remove the access platform.
(4)
Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Make an entry in the log book to record the deactivation. Subtask 21-63-00-862-057
B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002)

Reactivation of the Zone Controller - Hot-Air Pressure- Regulating Valve Check
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT AIR IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
