CAS Message: Possible Cause(s): Corrective Action:
EPMP BATT SW OFF ELECTRIC MASTER,
BATT 1 (or BATT 2)
switch is selected to
OFF.
Select proper switch to ON.
Absence of a message
indicates that both battery
switches are selected to ON.
EPMP POWER FAIL Either one (1) or all four
(4) sources of input
power supplied to the
EPMP have failed.
Check CBs:
• EPMP SW PWR #1: Pilot’s
Overhead: A-5
• EPMP SW PWR #2: Pilot’s
Overhead: B-5
• EPMP #1 DC: Pilot’s
Overhead: C-9
• EPMP #2 DC: Pilot’s
Overhead: D-9
If only one (1) source has failed,
continue operation as normal
and, if appropriate, attempt to
reset CB.
If all sources have failed (as
indicated by blackout of EPMP),
land as soon as practical.
FGC 1-2 FAIL Indicated FGC system
has failed.
No action required; switch-over
to opposite FGC is automatic.
If FGC is hard failed, cycle
appropriate CB:
• FGC #1: Copilot’s Overhead,
A-7
• FGC #2: Copilot’s Overhead,
B-7
FLAP ASYMMETRY
For airplanes with SPZ-
8400 incorporated
having ASC 69A or ASC
69B (Flap Asymmetry
Indicator) installed.
For airplanes with SPZ-
8000 incorporated,
having ASC 69A or ASC
69B, an amber FLAP
ASYM indicator light
(installed under the
FLAP/STAB position
indicator) will illuminate.
The CAS message is
not incorporated.
Flap position
asymmetry detected.
Flaps have stopped
moving to selected
position.
(1) Select longest available
runway for landing.
(2) Select L/R AIR START IGN
ON.
(3) Use VREF for configuration
as computed from Airplane
Flight Manual’s
Performance section.
(4) Select GPWS/GND SPLR
FLAP ORIDE ON.
CAUTION: DO NOT EXCEED
TIRE SPEED LIMITATIONS.
FLT HYD FAIL Failure of Flight
hydraulic system
pressure.
Check Flight hydraulic system
pressure.
(1) If system has failed, land
as soon as practicable.
(2) Disengage Yaw Damper.
(3) See Section 05-17-40,
Flight Hydraulic System
Failure.

CAS Message: Possible Cause(s): Corrective Action:
L-R FUEL LEVEL LOW Fuel level in hopper is
below approximately
650 lb (295 kg).
(1) Verify FUEL BOOST
PUMPS are selected to
ON.
(2) Check fuel quantity
indications.
(3) Select CROSSFLOW valve
to OPEN.
If fuel quantity is greater than
650 lb (295 kg) in appropriate
tank and the airplane is:
• IN FLIGHT: Level airplane
attitude.
• ON GROUND: Select FUEL
BOOST PUMPS to ON to fill
hopper.
L-R FUEL TEMP HOT Fuel temperature is
above 90° C or below
0° C.
Retard power and monitor
temperature indication. If
indication does not return to
normal, place power lever in
idle position.
OR:
Verify oil temperature is within
operating level at engine start.
Allow engine to operate at idle
until operating temperature is
reached. Message will
extinguish when engine fuel
temperature is above 0° C.
FWD RADIO RACK
HOT
Inside radome, left or
right equipment bay
temperature has
exceeded 200° F (93°
C).
(1) Attempt to isolate and shut
down hot equipment.
(2) Shut off unnecessary
equipment.
HYD QTY LOW Combined or Flight
hydraulic system
quantity is low.
(1) Check system for leak
using the HYDRAULICS
synoptic page.
(2) If leak is evident, expect
system to fail. See Section
5-17-00: Hydraulics.
ICE DETECTED
(If installed)
Ice detected by probe. Select COWL (and/or WING)
ANTI ICE to ON, as appropriate
OR:
Depart icing conditions.
IRS 1-2 ALN FAULT Improper PRESENT
POSITION entry or
excess airplane motion
while in ALIGN mode.
(1) Check PRESENT
POSITION data.
(2) If incorrect, reenter
PRESENT POSITION
data.
(3) If PRESENT POSITION
data is correct, or if excess
motion is suspected:
(a) Select IRS to OFF for
three (3) seconds
then back to ALIGN.
(b) Reenter PRESENT
POSITION data.
