81. Left Navigation Light / Wing Tip .............................................................CHECK
Check navigation light lens for cracks, security, and evidence of a defective lamp.
If night flight is anticipated, lights should be checked for actual operation.
82. Left Fuel Tank Vent / Plenum Drain ........................................................CHECK
Remove wing vent cover (if installed) and check that opening is clear with no
indication of fuel leakage. Check that drain plug is flush with surrounding surface
and not leaking fuel.
83. Left Wing Leading Edge...........................................................................CHECK
Check wing leading edge for damage and proper sealing of gap bands.
84. Left Pressure Fueling Static Port ............................................................CLEAR
Check that static port is clear of obstructions.
85. Left Wing Vent ...........................................................................................CLEAR
Check that screen is clear is free of debris.
86. Left Fuel Sump Drains.......................................CHECK / NOT LEAKING FUEL
Check that drain plug is flush with surrounding surface and not leaking fuel.
87. Window Emergency Releases / Windows............................................SECURE
Check that outside emergency release handle doors in wing fillet area are closed
and locked and that windows are flush with outer fuselage skin.
88. Left Engine Inlet / Cooling Inlets .........................COVER REMOVED / CHECK
Check that engine inlet cover is removed, and check inlet for any dents that might
indicate possible foreign object damage to engine.
89. Left Landing Light ....................................................................................CHECK
Check that there is no sign of burning or overheating of filament or cracking of
lens.
90. Left Ice Inspection / Emergency Lights .................................................CHECK
Check that lights are clear, lenses are not cracked, and for evidence of a defective
lamp.
91. Left Static Ports................................................COVER REMOVED / CHECKED
Check that static ports are clear of obstructions.
LEFT FORWARD FUSELAGE
92. Air Stair Door / Seal..................................................................................CHECK
Check that all door bayonets are fully retracted. Inspect door seal for cuts or any
other signs of damage.
93. Standby Pitot Probe..............................................COVER REMOVED / CHECK
Check that probe cover is removed and that probe is clear and free of damage.
94. Left Angle-of-Attack (AOA) Probe .......................COVER REMOVED / CHECK
Check that probe cover is removed, and check probe for damage. Verify that
sensing ports are oriented in the direction of flight.
95. Door Pins / Gear Pins / Pitot Covers...................................................STOWED
These items are normally stored in the forward compartment of the main entrance
door.

03-01-30: Interior Preflight Inspection
1. Baggage Compartment Door ................................................CHECK / SECURE
The door should be checked for seal condition. The plug-type door moves inward
and then upward on tracks when opened. It can be opened from either the inside
or outside of the aircraft.
2. Baggage Door Seal Control Valve Selector ...............................NORMAL OPS
For airplanes SN 1156 and subsequent, and airplanes SN 1000 through 1155 with
ASC 157 incorporated.
3. Windows ..................................................................................................SECURE
4. Fuel Tank Caps .......................................................................................SECURE
5. SPZ-8000 Shutoff Switch (Right Hand Radio Rack) ...................................OFF
For airplanes SN 1156 and subsequent, and airplanes SN 1000 through 1155 with
ASC 92 incorporated.
