one hand on the Nosewheel Steering handwheel for use if required.
(3) At 60 KCAS, when ″HOLD″ is annunciated on the Primary Flight
Display (PFD), the Pilot Not Flying (PNF) checks EPR indications
and calls, ″Power set,″ if EPR is at target. If EPR is less than target,
the PNF calls, ″EPR is low, increase power.″ The Pilot Flying (PF)
will disengage autothrottle, and manually set Takeoff EPR.
(4) The PNF checks airspeed indications and announces 80 KCAS (″80
Knots″). The PF should then transition from handwheel to control
yoke.
(5) The PNF calls, ″V1″ and ″Rotate″. At V1, the decision is made to
continue the takeoff. If the decision is to continue, the PF transitions
from power levers to control yoke. At VR, the aircraft is rotated
toward the desired pitch attitude commanded by the flight director.
(6) After a positive rate of climb is established, and at the PF’s
command, the PNF will retract the landing gear and flaps, and select
FL CH.
NOTE:
Commercial operators must comply with Federal
Aviation Regulations (FAR) minimum altitude of 400
feet AGL for flap retraction and 1000 feet for power
reduction.
(7) At 400 feet Above Ground Level (AGL), the power levers will move
to a climb thrust setting, and airspeed changes to 200 KCAS.
Maintain 200 KCAS until clear of Class D Airspace.
(8) On the Flight Guidance panel, select Autopilot (A/P) ON, if desired.
(9) When clear of Class D Airspace, select autospeeds as desired.

2. Normal Takeoff - Without Autothrottles:
A. Procedure:
(See Figure 2.)
(1) Depress and hold the brakes. While holding the brakes, advance the
power levers until both EPR indications to 1.50.
NOTE:
At gross weights above 50,000 pounds, takeoff EPR
may be set prior to brake release.
(2) Release the brakes, and promptly advance power to takeoff EPR.
(3) Maintain directional control with rudder pedal steering while keeping
one hand on the Nosewheel Steering handwheel for use if required.
(4) At 60 KCAS, the PNF checks EPR indications and calls, ″Power
set,″ if EPR is at target. If EPR is less than target, the PNF calls,
″EPR is low, increase power.″ The PF will manually set Takeoff
EPR.
(5) The PNF checks airspeed indications and announces 80 KCAS (″80
Knots″). The PF should then transition from handwheel to control
yoke.
(6) The PNF calls, ″V1″ and ″Rotate″. At V1, the decision is made to
continue the takeoff. If the decision is to continue, the PF transitions
from power levers to control yoke. At VR, the aircraft is rotated
toward the desired pitch attitude commanded by the flight director.
(7) After a positive rate of climb is established, and at the PF’s
command, the PNF will retract the landing gear and flaps, and select
FL CH.
NOTE:
Commercial operators must comply with FAR
minimum altitude of 400 feet AGL for flap retraction
and 1000 feet for power reduction.
(8) At 400 feet AGL, set climb power. Maintain 200 KCAS until clear of
Class D Airspace.
(9) When ready, consider climb profile of 250 KCAS to 10,000 feet, then
300 KCAS to 0.75 Mach and 0.74 Mach for the remainder of climb.

06-02-20: Rejected Takeoff
1. General:
Because of the diversity of Gulfstream operators, the decision as to who may
direct call for a rejected takeoff is left to the individual operators. Once the
decision is made to reject a takeoff, proceed as follows:
2. Procedure:
(See Figure 3.)
A. Pilot Flying (PF):
(1) Retard power levers to idle and apply maximum braking.
(2) Deploy speed brakes.
(3) Use reverse thrust if desired.
CAUTION
IF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL BECOMES DIFFICULT
WHILE IN REVERSE THRUST, REDUCE THRUST TO
REVERSE IDLE (OR FORWARD IDLE THRUST, IF
REQUIRED). REGAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL,
AND REAPPLY REVERSE THRUSTAS NECESSARY.
B. Pilot Not Flying (PNF):
(1) Verify ground spoiler deployment. If not deployed, PNF confirms PF
