and funeral, we thank you.
Peter, being humble in
nature, would not have wanted
a fuss over his passing but
would have been very grateful
to all, as were we, for the
beautiful send-off he had. Thank
you to Father MacIsaac for the
prayers and uplifting words; you
truly captured Peter’s spirit with
sincerity and humour. Also to
Father MacNeil for being part of
Peter’s funeral mass.
Thank you to Lynn and John
R. for the wonderful musical
arrangements and singing, to
Willie Kennedy for the fiddle,
and Sandra for the pipes. Thank
you to his pallbearers and close
friends, Alex, Walter (Wally),
Henry and Wally; to Kathleen
and Amanda for the readings;
Dunks and Stella for taking up
the offering; and Mattie, Linda,
and Barry for assisting with the
funeral mass. Also, we would
like to thank the I.V.F.D. Ladies
Auxiliary for the delicious lunch
they provided after the mass.
Finally, we would like to
extend a heartfelt thanks to all
of Peter’s close friends, coworkers
and neighbours, in
particular Buster, for always
being there for him, especially
the last few years. Buster, you
were a true friend and neighbour
to Peter. You were always close
by when he required that extra
helping hand, searching for
endless lost keys, or just some
companionship, thank you from
the bottom of our hearts. It will
never be forgotten.
God bless you all,
The MacKinnon and
MacDonald families

GILLIS
In loving memory of a dear
husband and father, Stanley
Gillis, who passed away January
22nd, 1993.
He had a sense of humour
And a sparkle in his eye,
A helping hand in times of need,
On that you could rely.
Maybe we can’t touch his hand
Or see his smiling face.
Maybe we can’t hear his voice
Or feel his warm embrace.
But something we will always
have,
Tucked safely in our hearts,
Our love for him, his love for us
Will never let us part.
Forever in our hearts.
Love,
Thelma, Darryl, Darlene,
Dawn and their families

Grandy, January 17th, 2005.
Always tender, fond and true,
There’s not a day, Frank,
We do not think of you.
When we’re sad and lonely
And death seems so unfair,
We always hear you whisper,
“Touch your heart; you’ll find me
there.”
Love and miss you, Dad,

MacDONNELL
In loving memory of Coline
MacDonnell, born Dec. 19th,
1970, died Jan. 15th, 2007.
God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around
you
And whispered “Come to
Me.”
W i t h t e a r f u l e y e s w e
watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you
dearly,
We could not make you
stay.
A golden heart stopped
beating,
Hard-working hands at
rest.
God broke our hearts to
prove to us
He only takes the best.
