(f) Remove and discard the lockwasher [47].
SUBTASK 27-62-22-020-008
(3) Do the steps to remove the speed brake lever [22] (Figure 404):
(a) Put the dowel set, SPL-2409 against the right side end of the long shaft [46].
(b) Hit lightly (carefully tap) on the dowel.
NOTE: This will move the long control shaft off the control levers.
1) Move the dowel until the speed brake lever [22] is on the dowel.
(c) Do not move the long shaft [46] from this position.
NOTE: More movement will let the speed brake lever fall.
(d) Hold the speed brake lever [22] and move the dowel from the lever.
1) Stop the dowel movement when you can lift up the lever.
2) Make sure the washers [49] are still held by the dowel and control shaft.
(e) Remove the speed brake lever [22] through the top of the control stand.
(f) Make sure the that the washers [49] do not fall in to the control stand.
(g) Do not move the dowel from this position.
