(1) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: Speed Brake Hydraulic Systems A and B Pressurization,
TASK 27-62-00-800-801.
SUBTASK 27-61-61-480-001
(3) Install the mount, SPL-1670 and the control column assembly protractor, SPL-1680 on the
captain’s aileron control wheel.

(4) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.

(5) Put the ailerons in the neutral position.

(6) Install the protractor, COM-1691 on the flight spoilers 2, 4, 9 and 11.

(1) Turn the captain’s aileron control wheel clockwise until the spoiler No. 9 starts to extend.

(a) Make sure the control wheel is 11 +/-1 degrees clockwise from zero.
SUBTASK 27-61-61-020-004
(2) Turn the control wheel 87 degrees clockwise:
(a) Make sure that the spoiler No. 9 moves 37 +/-3 degrees up from the retracted position.
(b) Make sure that the spoiler No. 11 moves 32 +/-3 degrees up from the retracted position.
(c) Make sure the spoiler No. 2 is in the retracted position.

(3) Turn the wheel counterclockwise until the spoiler No. 9 starts to retract.
(a) Make sure the control wheel is a minimum of 70 degrees clockwise.

(4) Turn the wheel counterclockwise until the spoiler No. 9 is fully retracted.
(a) Make sure the spoiler is fully retracted when the control wheel is 5 +/-3 degrees
clockwise.

(5) Turn the wheel counterclockwise until the spoiler No. 2 starts to extend.
(a) Make sure the control wheel is 11 +/-1 degrees counterclockwise from zero.
