SUBTASK 27-61-61-420-001
(1) Install the quadrant [37]:
(a) Put the quadrant [37] in its position on the structure.
(b) Install the bolt [22], washer [23], washer [24] and nut [25].
(c) Install the bolt [30], washer [31], nut [32] and pin [33] to attach the quadrant [37] to the
actuator input arm [21].

(2) Connect the wing spoiler cables WSA [2] and WSB [4] to the quadrant [37]:

(a) Install the rig pins A/S-8 thru A/S-11 from the test set rig pin kit, SPL-1585 in the applicable
rig pin hole.
(b) Install rig pin A/S-14 from the test set rig pin kit, SPL-1585 in the spoiler mixer [1].
(c) Remove the turnbuckle clamps and tags from the wing spoiler cables WSA [2] and WSB [4].
(d) Attach the wing spoiler cables WSA [2] and WSB [4] to the quadrant [37].
1) Install retainers [29], nuts [28], washers [27] and bolts [26].
2) Install pin [36], guard [35], and guard pin [34].
(e) Tighten the wing spoiler cables WSA [2] and WSB [4] at the turnbuckles [3] in the wheel
well.

(6) Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST
REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Do this task: Spoiler Hydraulic Systems A and B Pressurization, TASK 27-61-00-800-801.
(b) Do this task: Retract the Trailing Edge Flaps, TASK 27-51-00-860-804.
