E. Actuator Removal
SUBTASK 27-61-51-020-001
(1) Disconnect the hydraulic lines [12] from the actuator [15].
(a) Put a 5 gallon (19 liters) hydraulic fluid resistant container, STD-1110 below the actuator [15]
to catch the hydraulic fluid.
(b) Disconnect the hydraulic lines [12] from the actuator [15].
(c) Install the plugs in the hydraulic lines [12].
SUBTASK 27-61-51-020-002
(2) Disconnect the actuator rod end [17] from the flight spoiler [16]:
(a) Remove the bolt [1], washer [2], lockwire [23], pin [5] and washer [4] from the actuator rod
end [17].
(b) Remove nut [7], washer [6] and pin [3] that attach the actuator rod end [17] to the flight
spoiler [16].

(3) Remove the pin [11], nut [10], washer [9], and bolt [8].

(4) Disconnect the actuator [15] from the structure:
(a) Remove the bolts [21] and washers [22].
(b) Remove the bolt [19] and washer [20].
(c) Remove the bolt [18].

(5) Remove the actuator [15] from the airplane.
SUBTASK 27-61-51-480-001
(6) If it is necessary, remove the unions [13] and o-rings [14] from the actuator [15].
(a) Install caps in the ports of the actuator [15].
