(1) Move the speed brake lever to the ARMED position.
(a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

(2) Move the TEST SELECTOR switch to the INBD position on the antiskid/autobrake control unit
(AACU).

(3) Push the ENABLE/VERIFY button and move the toggle switch to the PRESS/TEST position on the
AACU.
(a) Make sure the spoilers move to the UP position.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR THE WEATHER RADAR
SYSTEM. THE FORWARD MOVEMENT OF A THRUST LEVER CAN CAUSE THE
AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM. THE OPERATION OF THIS SYSTEM CAN
CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT IN THE AREA
OF THE NOSE RADOME.
(4) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

(5) Move the No. 1 thrust lever to the full forward position.
(a) Make sure all spoilers move to the down position.

(b) Make sure the speed brake lever moves to the DOWN position.
(c) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED and SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM lights are off.

(6) Move the No. 1 thrust lever back to the idle position.

(7) Release the ENABLE/VERIFY button and the PRESS/TEST switch on the AACU.

(8) Do the test of the throttle switches again except move the TEST SELECTOR switch to the OUTBD
position on the AACU and use the No. 2 thrust lever.

(9) Move the TEST SELECTOR switch to the NORM position on the AACU.
F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST
REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Do this task: Speed Brake Hydraulic Systems A and B Pressurization,
TASK 27-62-00-800-801.
(b) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.
(c) Open these circuit breakers and install safety tags:
