3) Tighten the check nut [52].
4) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN postition.
5) If you adjusted spoiler No. 5, turn the control wheel to 30.0 ± 0.5 degrees
counterclockwise from the neutral position.
a) Make sure the position of spoiler No. 5 is within the limit of Table 502.
6) If you adjusted spoiler No. 8, turn the control wheel to 30.0 ± 0.5 degrees clockwise
from the neutral position.
a) Make sure the position of spoiler No. 8 is within the limit of Table 503.
7) If the spoiler angle is not within the limits, repeat the linkage adjustment and partial
speedbrake extension check until both requirements are met.
(g) Move the speedbrake lever until spoiler No. 2 or No. 3 is up 15 ± 0.5 degrees.
(h) Make sure spoilers No. 2 and No. 11 align in the limit of ± 0.5 degree.
(i) If spoilers No. 2 and No. 11 do not align, do these steps:
1) Loosen the check nut [52] on the spoiler you will adjust.
2) Turn the adjustment screw [51] to adjust the spoiler panel position to align the spoilers.
NOTE: A 1/4 turn of the adjustment screw will change the panel position by
approximately 0.75 degrees.
3) Tighten the check nut [52].
4) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN postition.
5) If you adjusted spoiler No. 2, turn the control wheel to 30.0 ± 0.5 degrees
counterclockwise from the neutral position.
a) Make sure the position of spoiler No. 2 is within the limit of Table 502.
6) If you adjusted spoiler No. 11, turn the control wheel to 30.0 ± 0.5 degrees clockwise
from the neutral position.
a) Make sure the position of spoiler No. 11 is within the limit of Table 503.
7) If the spoiler angle is not within the limits, repeat the linkage adjustment and partial
speedbrake extension check until both requirements are met.
(j) Make sure spoilers No. 3 and No. 10 align in the limit of ± 0.5 degree.
(k) If spoilers No. 3 and No. 10 do not align, do these steps:
1) Loosen the check nut [52] on the spoiler you will adjust.
2) Turn the adjustment screw [51] to adjust the spoiler panel position to align the spoilers.

6) If you adjusted spoiler No. 10, turn the control wheel to 30.0 ± 0.5 degrees clockwise
from the neutral position.
a) Make sure the position of spoiler No. 10 is within the limit of Table 503.
7) If the spoiler angle is not within the limits, repeat the linkage adjustment and partial
speedbrake extension check until both requirements are met.

lockwire, G01912 on the check nut [52].
