E. Speed Brake Antiskid Inoperative Test

(1) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

(2) Move the speed brake lever to the ARMED position.
(a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

(3) Move the TEST SELECTOR switch to the 2 position on the antiskid/autobrake control unit
(AACU).

(4) Push the ENABLE/VERIFY and VERIFY buttons on the AACU.
(a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light stays on.

(5) Release the ENABLE/VERIFY and VERIFY buttons on the AACU.
(a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light stays on.
(b) Make sure the spoilers do not move.

(6) Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

(8) Make sure the speed brake lever is in the ARMED position.
(a) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

(10) Push the ENABLE/VERIFY and VERIFY buttons on the AACU.

ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
