(1) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDER,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization, TASK 29-11-00-860-801.

(3) Move the speed brake lever to the full DOWN position.

(4) Move the captain’s aileron control wheel to the neutral position.
D. Alternate Spoiler Position Sensor Test
SUBTASK 27-61-00-740-001
(1) Do this BITE test on the control display unit (CDU):
NOTE: Only spoilers 4 and 9 can be tested using the BITE. Spoiler position sensors 3 and 10
cannot be tested using the BITE.
(a) Push the INIT REF key on the CDU keyboard.
(b) Push the Line Select Key (LSK) that is adjacent to these selections:
NOTE: Use the NEXT PAGE or PREV PAGE key to change page if it is necessary. During
the BITE test, if the "CONTINUE" shows, then push the LSK that is adjacent to
"CONTINUE" after you do the instructions that show on the CDU display.

lever in the FULL DOWN position). Do the following:
(a) Make sure that the A and B values are within the UL and LL limits.
(b) Record the values of A and B for spoiler 4.
