(1) Lift the airplane with the jacks until the right main gear shock strut is fully extended. To extend,
do this task: Lift the Airplane with the Jacks, TASK 07-11-01-580-815.

(2) Make sure you can easily install the rig pin S/B-3 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585 through the yoke
of the interlock valve.

(3) If you cannot easily install the rig pin S/B-3 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585, adjust the interlock
valve cable:
(a) Remove the bolt [73], washer [74], washer [75] and nut [76] to disconnect the lower slider
assembly [77] from the right main gear upper torque link.
(b) Remove lockwire from checknut.
(c) Loosen the checknut on the lower slider assembly [77].
(d) Adjust the lower slider assembly [77] until you can easily install rig pin S/B-3 from the rig
pin kit, SPL-1585 through the yoke of the interlock valve.
(e) Make sure you can see the threads of the rod end through the inspection hole in the rod
end.
(f) Install the bolt [73], washer [74], washer [75] and nut [76] to connect the lower slider
assembly [77] to the right main gear upper torque link.
(g) Make sure rig pin S/B-3 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585 can freely be installed.
(h) Tighten the checknut on the lower slider assembly [77].

(i) Install lockwire on checknut.
(j) Do this task: Ground Spoiler Interlock Valve Functional Test - Jacking Method,
TASK 27-62-61-400-805.
(k) Lower the airplane and remove the jacks. To lower, do this task: Lower the Airplane Off
the Jacks, TASK 07-11-01-580-816.

(1) Remove system A hydraulic power.
(a) Do this task: Remove Pressure from the Speed Brake Hydraulic Systems A and B,
TASK 27-62-00-800-802.
SUBTASK 27-62-00-820-006
(2) Adjust the interlock valve cable.
(a) Disconnect the lower slider assembly [80] from the right main landing gear (MLG) upper
torque link.
1) Remove the bolt [81], washer [82], washer [83], and nut [84].
(b) Manually retract and extend the cable assembly [85].
1) Make sure the cable assembly [85] and valve assembly move freely and do not bind.
(c) Install the rig pin S/B-3 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585.
(d) Remove the lockwire [86] from the checknut [87]on the lower slider assembly [80].
(e) Loosen the checknut [87].
