1.5.1. Main data  
Maximum weight at takeoff              Maximum weight at landing  : 1320 lb : 1320 lb 

            Maximum empty weight (with Rotax 912S engine of 100HP) : 884 lb ± 1%
Maximum empty weight does not include the following:
-pilots’weights;
-auxiliary instruments (for private activities);
-emergency parachute;
-fuel weight.

 Minimum weight:
1 pilot………………………….minimum 121 lb
minimum qty. of gasoline as per JAR-VLA rules Maximum load: 2 passengers (including pilot)……….2 x 189 lb gasoline qty. up to the maximum takeoff weight.
1.5.2. CG limits
CG of empty airplane            : 23.67% ± 1% MAC

1.5.3. Weighing and weight balancing
The weighing and weight balancing are checked after performing the repair work, after reapplying the paint coat, after fitting the airplane with additional equipment apart from its manufacturing configuration, or whenever using atypical loads.
1.5.4. Calculation of Center of Gravity (CG)
The center of gravity is determined for the airplane fully equipped, without fuel, by using the following procedure:
1. Set the aircraft in horizontal flight attitude, and place scales under the wheels; check the airplane horizontality, using an adequate (water) level.

 NOTE: A single scale can also be used, but this method offers less accurate
results. When using a single scale, all the other wheels must be placed on wooden
blocks, to maintain the airplane horizontality.
Always make separate measurements for each wheel.

2.
 Measure and write down the weight at each wheel, subtracting the weight of any add-ons used for bringing the airplane to horizontal.

3.
 Measure the distance on horizontal from the main gear wheel axis to the nose gear wheel (from center to center), represented by “d”.
