Special care shall be taken to make sure that the axle bolts are safety wired.
10.2.6.2 Airplane disassembly
All disassembly operations are carried out in reversed order as compared to the assembly procedure. Each dismantled fastener should be placed in properly labeled polyethylene bags, or remain fastened at one of the dismounted assemblies, at the preset locations. These recommendations are designed to prevent any loss or mixing up of the assembly elements.
10.2.7. FINAL INSPECTION LIST
Level of certification needed: A&P Mechanic
a) Wing-to-fuselage joint area
1.
 Check if all joint bolts are properly tightened and secured in position (6 attachment points for each wing);

2.
 Check the switching on of the aileron and flap controls and their proper securing;

3.
 Check the free operation of the controls;

 

4.
 Check the aileron and flap deflections; the measured values should comply with the limits specified in this manual;

 Check the switching on of the electrical connectors of the transducers;

6.
 Check for any distortions or clogging of the ventilation pipes of the fuel tanks;


7.
Check for any distortions and verify if the fuel supply and return pipes are properly connected and secured;

8. Fuel the tanks and check for any leakage at the pipe joints;

9.
 Check the fuel level gauge reading; in case of an erroneous reading, recalibrate the transducers;

10.
 Check the connection of the flexible tube of the manifold pressure port to the rigid pipe in the fuselage and check the secure fastening of the clamp;

11.
Check the air tightness of the manifold pressure system;

12.
Check for any clogging of the manifold pressure port at the port wing;

 


13.
 Inspect the holes for moisture draining out of the aileron or flap, checking for any clogging;

14.
 Inspect the fastening of the main gears: check their proper fastening and their securing in position;


15. Check the proper joints and check for any leakage at the brake system conduits;
16. Finally assemble the wing-to-fuselage fairing in the following sequence: leading age fairing, inboard fairing, outboard fairing.
b) Engine compartment area
1. Check the engine compartment technical condition; no damages are allowed;
2.
Check the propeller and propeller spinner attachment; check their proper assembly and securing in position;

3.
 Check the nose gear and nose gear control attachment: check their proper assembly and securing;

4.
 Check the free movement of the nose gear, correlated with the rudder movement.
