2. INSPECTIONS
2.1 Irregular inspections
2.1.1. Current (daily) inspection
Level of certification needed: Owner
It is a visual inspection, carried out whenever the airplane is ready for a flight activity. A complete round of the airplane is performed, checking the following: airframe integrity, any leakage – of fuel, oil, cooling fluid, brake fluid, any clogging of manifold and static pressure intake ports, landing gear fastening, tire inflation degree, fastening of control surfaces, any missing locking devices, canopy and windshield integrity, any dents at the propeller and propeller spinner, propeller fastening to the hub and hub fastening to the axle, secure fastening of cowling, covers and fairing.
Carry out the inspection, by following the route shown in the picture below:

Inspection route layout
Carefully check the airplane for any dents, corrosion pits, loosened fasteners, clogging or excessive plays at the control surfaces, check the smooth operation of the control elements, the correct closing of fairing, covers, cowlings and canopy.
In case of inadequate pressure in the tires, re-inflate them to 36 ± 1.5 psi.
Check the level of the working fluids: fuel, oil, cooling fluid, brake fluid, replenish as necessary and make sure the covers are properly closed.
In the cockpit check the adjustment and securing of seats in position, the smooth operation of the airplane controls (without jamming tendencies), the secure attachment of the airplane instruments, the integrity of the safety belts, the good operation of the locks, check for any fuel leakage, foreign maters or objects in the airplane, check the secure closing and locking of the canopy.
