S.C. AEROSTAR S.A. reserves the right to modify the frequency and contents of the maintenance tasks after becoming experienced in operating the Festival R40S airplane.
2.2.1. After the first 25 ± 2 hours

Carry out a general inspection of the engine and airframe. Check the tightening of the engine and propeller fastening bolts. Pay attention to the adjustment of the deflection angles of the control surfaces and to the trim tab position. If modifications were brought to the airplane, check the CG. 
Make sure that the fuel filters are clean.
2.2.2. After the first 50 ± 3 hours and every 100±5 hours afterwards
Level of certification needed: LSA Repairman - Maintenance;
Perform a rigorous inspection of all the components, including nuts, bolts, washers, cables, pipes, ball bearings, joints etc.; check the greasing of the outer hinges of the control surfaces.
Repair the engine and engine equipment in conformance with the manufacturers’ or the suppliers’ instructions.
It is important to visually inspect (using a magnifying glass 10x) all the welds on the engine mount, where due to the vibrations produced during operation cracks may occur due to fatigue of material. Also check the throttle quadrant cables, the fasteners, the clamps for hoses, the electric wiring, the exhaust system, the fuel and air filters, the level of fluids in the airplane systems.
Identify and repair any dented area of the propeller, paying attention to the weight balancing. Make sure that the propeller is securely and properly fastened and that it’s balancing is within the prescribed limits.
For inspecting the landing gear, take out the wheels and inspect the axles and the ball bearings. Clean and grease them.
Check the rubber shock absorbers on the nose gear (check them for cracks, aging, crushing or loosening), and, by dismantling, check the wearing condition of the tubes and safety element inside the shock absorber. Make sure that the wheels are properly inflated.
2.2.3. After every 200 ± 5 hours of flight and upon yearly inspection
Level of certification needed: LSA Repairman - Maintenance
The revision after 200 hours of flight comprises the tasks stipulated for the revision after 50 hours of flights, plus checkups of control surface deflections, wears at the rolls and guides of the control cables  and plays (displacements) in the flight controls (see also chapter Leveling).
2.3. Major overhaul 
Level of certification needed: Factory Authorized Repair Station
Major overhauls of the airframe are performed after the technical condition inspection by the manufacturer or a specialized and authorized service center, accepted by S.C. AEROSTAR S.A.
Major overhauling of airplane components (engine, propeller etc.) is performed at the manufacturing companies or authorized specialized service centers recommended by the manufacturers.
