3.5.3. Repairing of engine mount
Any cracked or severely damaged engine mount shall be repaired only at the manufacturer, or it shall be replaced.
3.6. Cockpit
3.6.1 Cockpit description
Two seats – side by side, in a closed cockpit. These seats are of metallic design: the seat frame is welded from 6061 alloy tube, while the seat back is made of sheet metal riveted on a frame made of 6061 alloy tube. The cushions are made of sponge, covered in synthetic leather or textile material. Seats are adjustable, so as to ensure a comfortable position to the pilot, adapted to the occupant’s height. Position adjustment can be done by pulling up the seat lever, moving the seat in the desired attitude and locking it by pushing the actuating lever; locking is achieved by two axles that upon lever descent enter the matching holes in the floor guiding rails.
It is also possible to adjust the seat back position, by means of the screws located on the lower side of the seat frame. For easy access to the luggage compartment area, the seat backs can be tilted frontward.
Cockpit controls (other than flight controls):
Centrally, on the rack under the control panel are located the engine controls: throttle lever, choke lever and carburetor intake air heating lever, then on each side of the rack are located the following: engine cooling control lever, stop valve control, cockpit heating-ventilation, stationing - parking brake control - single controls. Laterally, on the LH panel is located the dual throttle lever control (optional). The controls on the rack - throttle, choke and carburetor heating - can be locked on the desired position by turning the lock hand wheel located on the RH panel of the central rack.
The connection between the engine carburetors and the levers is ensured by flexible cables or spring steel wires, protected with Bowden sheathes.  The racks and the levers are made of Al sheet metal, the synchronization assembly is made of 4130 steels, while the connecting rods are made of stainless steel
The whole range of rotation angles is ensured for the carburetor levers. The control of the two carburetors is synchronized.
3.6.2. Maintenance of cockpit and engine controls
Level of certification needed: Owner  Cockpit maintenance consists in maintaining the cleanliness of the upholstery, as well as in checking and maintaining the operating capacity of the seats. Maintenance of engine controls consists in checking their technical condition, reconditioning, greasing and adjusting them. During this technical inspection, check the integrity of the parts, check for wears at the cables (wearing out, broken wires), guide parts and joints. Clean and grease all the joints and cables.
