9.3. Anemo-barometric system
The anemo-barometric system was designed to provide static and manifold pressure to the airspeed indicator and static pressure to the altimeter, vertical speed indicator and altitude encoder. The system comprises the below-mentioned elements, plus the PVC flexible pipes, rigid pipes and fastening elements.

The anemo-barometric system was so designed as to allow easy assembly/dismounting, just like the control panel, so that the control panel instruments are interconnected with flexible anemo pipes, made of rubber or PVC tubes, fitted at the ends with connecting elements.
Both flexible and rigid pipes were used for making this system (Al tube, in the wing).
Static ports were mounted on the rear fuselage, symmetrically, in areas not subject to aerodynamic influences.
A manifold port (intake), of simple design, is located on the port wing, in areas not affected by turbulences.
The system route consists of rigid pipes in the wing and flexible pipes in the fuselage, serving for interconnections, too.
9.4. Optional equipment
In its fully equipped version FESTIVAL R40S is equipped with the following navigation and radio-navigation equipment:

Radio-communication system type IC-A200 (ICOM), and intercom unit type ACS 400;
2.
Transponder system GTX320A;
3.
Strobe lights system.
