9.9. Maintenance of control panel instruments
Level of certification needed: Owner Remove the screws for fastening the panel on the airframe and pull the panel out as much as needed to ensure access to the inside.
Check the operation of the control panel instruments. 
Check the control panel condition. Verify the control panel fastening onto the fuselage.
Inspect the inside area of the control panel, paying special attention to the condition of the

flexible pipes of the anemo-barometric instruments. Check the condition and secure fastening of the aircraft instruments. Check the condition and secure fastening of the circuit breakers and switches on the control
panel. Remove any damages and replace any faulty items.
9.10. Maintenance of anemo-barometric instruments
Level of certification needed: A&P Mechanic
1. Checking the air tightness in the manifold pressure circuit
1.
Plug the portable pressure bench into the manifold intake.

2.
Apply a pressure able to move the airspeed indicator needle at 3 / 4 of its maximum travel.

3.
Set the pressure source to the above value.

4.
Monitor the air speed indicator for a minute. After a minute, the speed decrease should not exceed


6.25 mph.
5.
Gradually bring the circuit to normal pressure.
