CAUTION: Do not block the wheels by means of the parking brake on cold weather, when moisture can accumulate and freeze on the brakes, nor on extremely hot weather, when the temperature in the brakes and brake circuit can be too high to bear. In these cases, set chocks at the wheels.
14.2. Airplane anchorage system
Level of certification needed: Owner
In case the airplane is kept outside the hangar, it should be tied-down so as to protect it against any damages that might occur as a result of strong winds, storms or blasts. For this, move the airplane on a flat land area, near a concrete covered (bituminous) surface, and steer it with the nose in the prevailing wind direction, then anchor the airplane to ground as shown in the sketch below.
The airplane is anchored in three points, two at the handles specially designed on the wingtip inboard, LH and RH (stations 1 si 2), and one at the tail skid (station 3).
The airplane is tied down to ground in six points, at which are stuck in ground the corresponding fastening pylons (two points are available, located symmetrically in transversal plane as related to the vertical projection on ground of each point on the aircraft).
The distance between the pylons corresponding to a point on the wing is about 1.5 m (5 ft), while the distance between the pylons corresponding to the tailwheel attachment is about 0.9 m (3 ft).
As connecting elements you can use: carbines, string, mountaineering skipping ropes, lanyards or textile belt straps of ultimate resistance above 50 daN.
CAUTION: During anchorage on ground, the parking brake is usually engaged.

14.3. Shipment
The airplane will be shipped by means of adequately sized means of transportation: containers, wagons, trucks, vans etc.
Individual parts will be shipped packed in polyethylene bags or in wrapping paper, preferably waxed; make sure the parts are identified by labels and check the correspondence between the labels and the contents of the specific packing/packaging lists.
For shipping large assemblies, use adequate jigs and fixtures, fitted with spacers and protection elements made of felt or other protection elements of 5 mm (0,19 in.) minimum thickness in the contact areas with the assemblies.
