By means of a fine layer of protection product C.620 (applied by spraying or by brushing), cover all exposed areas of the steel elements and joint fittings;
5.
Polish the mat areas of the windshield and canopy windows and clean them with white spirit.
6.
Clean and grease the joints of the canopy mechanisms.
11. Final operations
1.
Re-install the previously dismounted engine cowlings, inspection doors and fairing;
2.
Plug the air intakes and gas exhaust tubes coming out of the engine;
3.
Close and lock the canopy;
4.
Store the airplane as away as possible from sun, wind, humidity or dust ,and any other potential risks of damages;
5.
Anchor the airplane in the prevailing wind direction;
6.
Tie a warning tag (plate) on the propeller, to forbid propeller rotation during storage and to provide storage information such as: type of storage; date of storage, end date of storage and the schedule of inspections during the storage period.

14.5.2. Destorage of airplane stored for a short period of time
a) Preliminary preparation
1.
Remove the tarpaulins, plugs and catches from the airplane.
2.
Dismount the engine cowling;
3.
Open all inspection doors;
4.
Dismount the wing-to-fuselage & fuselage-to-empennage fairing;
5.
Open the canopy.
b) De-storage
1. Airframe and canopy
1.
Using white spirit, remove the preservation product from all the areas protected during airplane storage; reapply the grease;
2.
Identify and remove all corrosion pits;
3.
Clean with white spirit and retouch the damaged protection coating;
4.
Clean the windshield and the canopy windows with white spirit.
5.
Clean and grease the joints of the canopy mechanisms;
2. Landing gear
1.
Check the condition, clean and re-grease the joints, axles and bearings of the main gears;
2.
Clean the brake assemblies and brake disks with white spirit;
3.
Clean and grease the nose gear joints and the nose gear controls;
4.
If necessary, adjust the protection coatings;
5.
Clean the tires and the air pressure is reloaded.
3. Electrical system
1.
Check all switches and set them to . disconnected circuit . ;
2.
Install the battery and check the voltage.
4. Flight controls
1.
Check the general condition of the chains of controls;
2.
Clean all joints of the controls with white spirit, dry and grease them;
