Put a new gasket in its position on the toilet tank.

(2)
Loosely assemble the sensor and the sensor shroud between a new gasket.

(3)
Put the sensor and the sensor shroud in their installed position on the toilet tank.
NOTE: The top view of the toilet tank in Fig. 401 gives the correct

position.

Install the washers and nuts.
(5)
Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.

(7) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(8) Use the rinse fitting at the service panel to fill the toilet tank
with water until you can see the water come into the toilet bowl or
until it stops automatically.
NOTE:____ If the water comes into the toilet bowl, the fill control
system does not operate correctly.

(9) Push in the outlet side of the hinged separator in the toilet bowl
to view its contents.

Make sure that the level of the water is approximately 3 inches below the lower surface of the top of the toilet tank.

Carefully put the toilet shroud over the toilet tank assembly and engage the latches.

Do the steps in AMM 12-17-61/301 to drain the water from the toilet tank and add the chemical precharge.
