TOILET TANK - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the toilet tank. The second task installs the toilet tank.
B. Make sure that you read and obey the specified instructions in the Standard Procedures for work with the Toilet Waste and Equipment (AMM 38-32-60/201).

(1) AMM 12-17-61/301, Toilet Tank - Servicing
B. Access
(1) Location Zone 224 Upper Deck Crew Rest Body Sta 385 to 632, Right
C. Prepare for the Removal

Do the steps in AMM 12-17-61/301 to drain, rinse and add the chemical precharge to the toilet tank.

(2)
After 5 minutes, drain the chemical precharge from the toilet tank.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P414 Power Distribution Panel - Left 1) 414C15 LAV LIGHTS GHB 2) 414E19 DRAIN VALVE LAV TANK U-21 3) 414F23 FILL CONTROL LAV TANKS
(b)
P415 Power Distribution Panel - Right 1) 415D35 UPR DK LAV FLUSH MOTOR U-21
(4)
Open the latches at the bottom of the toilet shroud.
(5)
Remove the toilet shroud.

Do these steps to get access to the aft side of the toilet shroud wall.

NOTE:____The toilet shroud wall is the aft wall of the lavatory. It connects to the door wall.
(a) Remove the closure strip for the ceiling panel aft of the partition.
