FLUSH SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the flush switch. The second task installs the flush switch.
B. The flush switch is found in the lavatory compartment above the toilet seat.

Flush Switch Removal (Fig. 401)

(1) Location Zone 224 Upper Deck Crew Rest Body Sta 385 to 632, Right
B. Procedure

(1) Open this circuit breaker on P415 Power Distribution Panel - Right and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 415D35 UPR DK LAV FLUSH MOTOR U-21

Open the latches at the bottom of the toilet shroud.

(3)
Remove the toilet shroud.

(4)
Disconnect the electrical wires from the flush switch assembly at the wire disconnects.

Loosen the setscrew and remove the flush handle.

(6)
Remove the coverplate.
(7)
Remove the two mounting screws from the flush switch assembly.

Put the flush switch assembly in its position.

Install the two screws that hold the flush switch assembly.

Install the coverplate.

Install the flush handle and tighten the setscrew.

Connect the electrical wires to the flush switch assembly at the wire disconnect.
