E. Install the Air Compressor

(1)
Put the air compressor in its installed position on the four mounts.
(2)
Install the screws and washers.
(3)
Connect the electrical connector to the air compressor.
(4)
Do this task: "Water System Pressurization" (AMM 38-15-60/201).

(5) S 794-015Make sure there are no air leaks at the compressor connections.
(6) S 714-016Make sure after 5 minutes the system is fully pressurized and the compressor stops.
(7) S 414-017Do this task: "Containerized Cargo Compartment Ceiling and Sidewall Linings - Installation" to install the ceiling panels.
(8) S 864-018Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

AIR FILTER - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General_______
A. This procedure gives the instruction to do these tasks:
(1)
Remove the replacable element for the bleed-air line air filter.
(2)
Install the replacable element for the bleed-air line air filter.
(3)
Remove the body for the bleed-air line air filter.
(4)
Install the body for the bleed-air line air filter.
(5)
Remove (and clean) the metalic element for the air inlet filter from the air compressor with the built-in filter.
(6)
Install the metalic element for the air inlet filter from the air compressor with the built-in filter.
NOTE: If it is necessary to replace the complete filter assembly,
____ omit the steps that remove and install the element in the housing.
(7)
Remove the canister inlet air filter from the compressor with the external canister filter.
(8)
Install the canister inlet air filter on the compressor with the external canister filter.

A. General
(1) The bleed-air line air filter with the replacable, non-cleanable element is referred to as the filter in this task.

WARNING:_______REMOVE THE AIR PRESSURE FROM THE PNEUMATIC MANIFOLD. AIR WITH HIGH PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(1) If the pneumatic manifold is pressurized, do this task: "Release the Pressure in the Pneumatic System" (AMM 36-00-00/201).
