MOTOR-PUMP-FILTER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the
motor-pump-filter assembly. The second task installs the
motor-pump-filter assembly.
B. The motor-pump-filter assembly is referred to as the MPF assembly in the steps of these two tasks.
C. Make sure that you read and obey the specified instructions in the Standard Procedures for work with the Toilet Waste and Equipment (AMM 38-32-60/201).

2. Motor-Pump-Filter Assembly Removal (Fig. 401)__________________________________
A. Reference
(1) AMM 12-17-61/301, Toilet Tank - Servicing
B. Access
(1) Location Zone 224 Upper Deck Crew Rest Body Sta 385 to 632, Right
C. Prepare for the Removal

(1) Open this circuit breaker on P415 Power Distribution Panel - Right and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 415D35 UPR DK LAV U-21 FLUSH MOTOR

Do the steps in AMM 12-17-61/301 to drain, rinse and add the chemical precharge to the toilet tank.

(3)
After 5 minutes, drain the chemical precharge from the toilet tank.

Gain Access to Motor-Pump-Filter Assembly

(1) Open the latches at the bottom of the toilet shroud.
