WATER QUANTITY TRANSMITTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure gives the instructions for two tasks. The first is the removal of the water quantity transmitter and the second is the installation of the transmitter.
B. The water quantity transmitter is installed outboard of the sidewall at station 830, approximately 40 inches above the forward cargo container compartment floor.

2. Water Quantity Transmitter Removal (Fig. 401)__________________________________
A. Reference
(1) AMM 25-52-01/401, Containerized Cargo Compartment Ceiling and Sidewall Linings
B. Access
(1) Location Zone 124 Forward Cargo Container Compartment Aft Half, Right
C. Procedure
S 864-001
(1) Open this circuit breaker on P180 DC Power Distribution Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 180D19 POT WATER SYSTEM
S 014-002
(2)
Do this task: "Containerized Cargo Compartment Ceiling and Sidewall Linings Removal" (AMM 25-52-01/401) to remove the sidewall panel at station 830.
S 034-003
(3)
Disconnect the wire that connects the water quantity transmitter to the water tank.

(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the water quantity transmitter.

(5)
Remove the fasteners that hold the water quantity transmitter to the plate at the four locations.
(6)
Remove the water quantity transmitter.
