(a) If the compressor does not stop in approximately five minutes, check for leaks in the pressure switch connection. 1) If there are leaks in the pressure switch connection, repair all of the leaks. 2) If there are no leaks in the pressure switch connection, do the steps that replace the pressure switch.

 COMPRESSOR RELAY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure includes two tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the air compressor relay for the potable water system.

 (2)  
The installation of the air compressor relay for the potable water system (relay).

 B.  The installation task of the relay includes an operational check of the installed relay.
 C.  The relay (No. 859) is in the center equipment panel, P54, in the electrical and electronics compartment.

Open the access door for the center equipment panel.

Remove the mounting screws from the relay mounting bracket.

 (5)  
Remove the relay from the relay socket.
