(1) Remove the remaining sealant from the inboard and outboard sides of the mounting hole for the drain mast.

Clean each side of the mounting hole for the drain mast with BMS 11-7, FCC-55, MEK:Sec-Butyl alcohol (42:58), MEK, or MPK.

Put the drain mast tube through the hole in the outer side of the airplane and align the bolt holes.
(4)
Install the mounting bolts, nuts, and washers.
(5)
Connect the drain line tubing to the drain mast.
(6)
Tighten the tubing clamp.

(7) S 434-019Connect the electrical wires for the drain mast heater.
(8) S 434-020Clean the terminal and mount plate for the bonding jumper.
(9) S 434-021Connect the bonding jumper for the drain mast.

If it is removed, replace the ribbon heater around the drain tubing (AMM 30-71-01/401).

Replace the insulation blankets on the area around the drain mast if the blankets are removed.

Apply the BMS 5-95 sealant and make a fillet seal between the edge of the drain mast and the outer side of the airplane.
NOTE: Refer to BAC 5030 when you make the fillet seal and keep the
____ radius of the seal less than 0.12 inch.
